We serve homeschooling families across the Greater Manassas area, and this is the home we're building for Fall 2026. The floor plan is our working concept. Room sizes and walls are approximate and can shift as we finish the space with our contractors.

You know the drill. Dance class is on one side of town. Music class is on the other. Lunch gets eaten in the driver's seat somewhere in between. The teaching doesn't wear a homeschool family out. The driving does. So we put the whole week under one roof. Here, your family's class lineup runs in one building, and the only commute left is the walk from one room to the next, right down the hall. You finally get to sit still while they learn. Bring your laptop and your coffee. Your morning, finally yours.

The usual idea of teaching is simple. A teacher comes in with material, teaches it, and leaves. We do that part too, our instructors are real experts. But that's where we start, not where we stop. Once the material lands, the real work begins. We watch the child in front of us, notice what they're good at and where they come alive, and mentor them toward it. Every child has a gift, and our job is to find it and grow it as far as it will go, on their own path, not one we chose for them.

Curiosity first. The tools can come later.
Curiosity is the desire to learn, and the answer was never the whole prize. What a child finds on the way to an answer is often better than what they went looking for. But when every device in the house answers any question in three seconds, wonder itself gets killed. The words "I wonder..." disappear from childhood, literally, because no question stays open long enough to be wondered about. And curiosity grows while kids are young and wired for it, or it barely grows at all. So every class here protects the chase. A real question, earned the long way, all the way to that proud moment of "I found it." Kids love whatever is good to them, and a subject that sparks their curiosity and lets them win is being good to them. That's why we don't believe in children who just don't like math. We believe in subjects that haven't made them curious yet. We light the fire. Curiosity does the rest.

Vetted in full. Not parent volunteers, so you never have to teach or assist.

No full-year contract and no lock-in. Enroll by the quarter or the semester, one class or a full schedule.

More than classes
It started as a community. It still is.
Before any of this was an academy, it was families who wanted more for their kids and found each other. That's still the heart of it. Your child walks in and finds real friends, the kind who save them a seat and cheer when they get it right.
Kids work side by side here. They build things in teams, take on projects together, and learn to lift the kids next to them. The friendships are real, and so is the work they do together.
And we're building toward more. As our families grow, teams and sports are where we're headed.
Are your classes in person?
Yes. Every class meets in person, in small hands-on groups at our space in the Greater Manassas area. We're not an online or video program. Your child works with real materials and a real teacher in the room.
How are you different from a co-op?
A co-op runs on parent volunteers, so you end up teaching or helping. We run on paid professional teachers. You get the community without the workload, taught by people who do this for a living.
Can I take just one or two classes?
Yes. It's fully a la carte. Take one class or fill a whole morning. You enroll by the quarter or the semester, so there's no year-long contract and no bundle you're forced into.
How do I know when a class meets?
Every class runs once a week at a set day and time. You'll see the exact day and time on each class card when you enroll, and the full week is laid out on the schedule page so you can plan your family's day.
What if a class doesn't have enough students?
Every class needs a small minimum to run (5 students for Pre-K through 3rd grade, 6 for older grades). If we don't hit that by the registration deadline, we cancel the class and you get a full refund or a credit toward another class, with no fees.
Do I need to buy class supplies?
No. Supplies are included for Fall 2026. Your child shows up and everything they need for class is already there.
What if we need to withdraw from a class?
Plans change. If you withdraw before your child's first class, you get a full refund minus a $25 withdrawal fee per class. Once a class has met, tuition isn't refundable, but reach out if you're in a hard spot and we'll try to work out a credit toward another class.
What happens after I enroll?
You'll get a confirmation email right away with your classes and their days and times. Classes begin the week of September 14. And once the term is underway, your child's teacher emails you a weekly note on what they did in class.
Do I have to teach anything myself?
No. Your child takes the class with a real teacher while you stay on-site. You run your own homeschool. We teach the demanding, hands-on classes that are hard to do well at home, the ones your child looks forward to all week.
Where are you located?
We're in the Greater Manassas area of Virginia. We share the exact address with registered families and don't take walk-ins.
Is this a religious program?
No, we're secular, and every family is welcome here no matter your faith or background. We're not tied to any religion and we don't teach one. What we do hold to is a simple set of values any family can stand behind: kindness, honesty, respect, and treating each other well. The classroom stays focused on learning, and open to everyone.
What values does the academy hold?
We're secular, so we don't teach a particular faith. But we're not value-free either. We expect honesty, kindness, effort, and respect, the things every family wants for their kids. Children of every background learn side by side here, and we work to keep this a place where each one belongs.
