The Room You've Been Looking For.
This started at a kitchen table. One mom teaching the homeschool families around her, until more kids showed up than her living room could hold. It grew into a real academy and it still feels like family. That's the room you'd be teaching in.
Classes stay small here on purpose. Ten to twelve kids, fifteen at most. Small enough that you know every child by name, see how each one's doing that day, and catch the kid who's quietly stuck before it turns into a bad week.
And you get to teach with a real method, not a script. Start every class with a question good enough that every kid wants the answer. You're trusted to teach your subject the way it's meant to be taught. This is a paid professional position. Our instructors do all the teaching. Parents stay the legal homeschoolers and don't teach here, which is exactly why we're not a co-op.

Real expertise in your subject
This is the floor, and it's required. You know your subject cold and you can teach it with depth. Subject mastery is where we start, not where we stop.
You love kids
You genuinely like children and you enjoy seeing the world through their eyes. That isn't a soft skill here. It's the work.

You remember what it feels like to not get it yet, and you can meet a child there while still holding the standard high.

A paid professional role
You're a paid instructor, not a parent volunteer and not a co-op helper. Competitive pay, per teaching hour, for real teaching work.
Small classes
Ten to twelve students, fifteen max. Small enough to actually know every kid and teach the way you wish you always could.

How we hire

We vet every instructor in full. No shortcuts. Parents are trusting us with their kids, and we take that seriously, so the people in front of those kids have earned their way there.
We hire for fit with how we teach. You can be brilliant in your field and still not be right for this room, and that's okay. We're looking for the person who knows their subject and loves kids and teaches with the method behind every class. Everyone we bring on is trained on that approach before they ever lead a class.
