Third through fifth is when kids start getting self-conscious, so this class gets them past it early. They work with real scenes and real characters, and they learn what a director means by louder, or slower, or turn and face the room. Improv runs most weeks. Nothing kills the fear of getting it wrong faster. A kid who can hold a room at ten is a different kid at fifteen. That's what the class is for, and it doesn't feel like work while it's happening.
