At this age the body is still learning the basics, so the class works on them without ever calling it that. Skipping, throwing, catching, balancing, stopping when you're supposed to stop. It runs as games. The games are built so nobody sits out and nobody is picked last. Kids get the wiggles out in the middle of a school day, which their parents feel later. Some of them make their first real friend here, standing next to somebody in a relay line.
